Min. Adanna Phillip was born and raised in the picturesque Caribbean island of Dominica and later migrated to Toronto, Canada, where she currently resides. She believes in purpose-filled work and holds an Honours BA in Psychology and a Master’s in Social Work.  Adanna is also a published author who released her debut book “Lessons from David: A reflection on the life of a man after God’s own heart” in 2018 and is on the cusp of releasing her second book. Above all her accomplishments, she defines her life as one focused on pursuing the fullness of God and a desire to always be His “Yes girl!”

As one who is passionate about the things of God, Min. Adanna finds no greater fulfillment than being in His presence and used by Him. She has developed a motto for life, which is to work with God for the salvation of souls, the edification of the church, the manifestation of kingdom benefits, and to be ever vigilant of her own salvation so as in the end to hear “Well done, thou good and faithful servant!”

Adanna serves in various capacities in the ministry, including as the current senior dance director of FUM's dance ministry. She inherited this role from the visioner and founder, Min Deborah Wallace. In this role, Min Adanna works with amazing young women using this artistic form of worship to minister to themselves and those looking on. She serves humbly, praying that God would inspire spiritual maturity and purpose in the lives of young people in the dance ministry and beyond.
